Well, maybe I shouldn't be quite so "smart" all the time because I'm sure my child has picked it up from me along the way. Regardless, she said something on vacation where I had to excuse myself to the next room and bury my face in a pillow so she wouldn't hear me laugh. I can't quite remember what she was wanting to do, but Zoe had asked her Daddy to do something and he said, "Zoe, I'm not too sure that's such a good idea." My child looks at her Daddy and says, "You know, Daddy, sometimes you gotta just jump in without your floaties on!" Oh. My. Word. I cried I laughed so hard.
What will she say next? Better yet, maybe I shouldn't ask that question.
