The Princess Diaries

Last Friday night, Mark went to the movies to see The Book of Eli.  While Daddy was gone, Zoe and I watched a movie together....The Princess Diaries.  It's a really cute movie and she really liked it.  Check out how Zoe pronounces the name of the movie.....

American Idol

We have what we call "Family Movie Night" in our house.  Mark and I LOVE to watch American Idol and now Zoe does, too.  She thinks the audition rounds with the really bad singers is so funny.  Watch below to see how she pronounces "American Idol."

Singing Daddy's Song

Daddy has a song he always sings to Zoe.  Zoe started singing it the other day and I loved it!  Here you go:

Learning the Art of the "Wet Willy"

So, while Uncle Steve and Aunt Patty were here, Aunt Patty decided to teach Zoe how to give a "wet willy."  It was absolutely hysterical and I'm so glad I had my camera close to catch it on video!

Levitate

So, the other night Mark, Zoe and I were watching America's Funniest Videos, which we often watch as a family because we can all laugh and it's generally very clean.  Anyway, there were some invididuals who had a video camera and were in a cemetary.  They hid half of their bodies behind a marble stone and made "funny" motions with their arm and leg that was not hidden behind the marble stone.  Well, since marble is shiny it was pretty hysterical.  One guy made himself look l ike he was floating and my three year old turns to us and says, "Hey, that guy can levitate!"  I said, "What did you just say?"  And, of course, she repeated it word for word.  I WAS FLOORED!  What three year old knows to use the word "levitate".....let alone what it actually means.  I turned to Mark and said, "We're going to have to eventually go back to school just to keep up with her."  We're in trouble.....

Seriously....I CAN'T Wait to See this Movie.....

Smart (In Two Different Ways)

So, I'm trying to do better with writing down those little things that Zoe says that are so funny.  The thing is....my child is constantly saying something that's funny and I'm having a hard time keeping up!  Yesterday morning while we were all getting ready for work and school, Mark proceeded to say something that started with "Everybody."  Now, you can tell how much attention I actually pay to my husband because the rest sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher.  But, I did manage to hear Zoe's response, which was, "Daddy, I'm not everybody, I'm just one!"  I'll be the first to admit that it was a little sassy, but I couldn't help thinking how smart she is to come up with that all on her own at the tender age of three!  I had to lean behind Mark because I was beginning to laugh.  I whispered to him that he had to agree that it was unbelievably smart and he said, "I know...I'm going to be in trouble."  I said, "Zoe, don't you think that was a little sassy?"  She said, "Alright.  Sorry!"  Out of the mouths of babes!
