Again....Do You Think I Look Like My Mommy?

So, I was going through pictures on my computer and came across these of myself I had used for a family DVD I made for my parents. Now, are you convinced yet that Zoe looks just like me? HOLY COW!!!!!

Bunny Raddit

Zoe loves looking at the bunny rabbits in our back yard. And she says "bunny raddit" instead of "bunny rabbit." We just had to get it on video since it's so stinkin' cute. Enjoy!

Eatin' Cupcakes

First, I apologize for the "guffawing" in the background. I simply couldn't help myself. For Mark's birthday we just did cupcakes rather than a big cake because we didn't want all the sweets in the house. Anyway, as you can see, I got very tickled at Zoe eating her cupcake. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Happy Birthday/Father's Day

Mark's birthday was on June 11th and, of course, today is Father's Day. I must say I have the best husband and Zoe has the best father in the world. He shows it every opportunity he gets. And I can honestly tell you there isn't anything he wouldn't do for "his girls." Here are a few pics I took before we took Mark out to eat. I bet you'll never guess what he wanted.....CATFISH! I swear you could give that man BBQ, catfish or meatloaf for the rest of his life and he would be so content.

Pump It Up!

Our poor child is going to think her birthday lasts for one month with all of the birthday celebrations we've had. Anyway, this past Saturday was Zoe's birthday part at Pump It Up and we HAD A BLAST! Mark's birthday is this Wednesday (June 11th) and I kept asking him if it was his birthday party or Zoe's. We had that much fun! And we had a great turnout that made it all the more fun. Below are some pics from our big day! Enjoy!

Zoe's Two Year Appointment

Today was my baby's two year appointment with her pediatrician, Dr. Nancy Beveridge. I know I've said this before, but I LOVE my pediatrician. She's so awesome and really takes the time to talk with you and get to know everything about you. And she LOVES Zoe. When we were walking to our room today she was in the hall finishing with another patient and immediately hollered, "Hi Miss Zoe! I'm so happy to see you today!" That's a great feeling.

Anyway, Zoe is such a big girl. She is measuring 36 1/4 inches tall (HOLY COW!), 31 pounds and her head circumference is 49 1/2. She is in the 95th percentile for height and weight and 90th percentile in head circumference. And for the record, she weighed 28.6 pounds at her 18 month checkup and was 28.6 inches tall! Needless to say, I've got one tall little girl. And she is definitely a little girl now. She doesn't look like a "baby" anymore and it's kind of sad to me. But I must say I'm loving this stage. She amazes me on a daily basis.

Poor Zoe did get one shot for Hepatitis A; however, she won't have any other shots until she's five. Also, we took peanut butter today and she had her first taste of it. That seems to be the biggest allergy that most children have (that and strawberries) so Dr. Beveridge suggested I bring in the peanut butter for her two year checkup. And those of you who know me know that I will do whatever she tells me to do because I value her opinion. I had bought a little jar to take with me and Dr. Beveridge gave Zoe a tongue depressor for her to scoop it out. I'm proud to report that Zoe loves peanut butter (her exact words were "that's yummy, Mommy") and doesn't appear to have any allergies to peanuts! AWESOME! I'm so thankful for that. Yes, I'm a worry wart, but I just can't seem to help myself. So, all in all it was a great checkup! Yeah! Thank God!!!!!

What Will They Think of Next?

Aunt Patty and Uncle Steve sent Zoe a baby doll for her birthday that is just too cool! This thing cries, sucks on a bottle, sucks on a pacifier and sleeps (her belly rises and falls with each deep breath). Needless to say, this doll was a HUGE hit with Zoe. She absolutely LOVES it. Thank you Uncle Steve & Aunt Patty for such a thoughtful gift! You guys are the best and we can't wait to see you soon!
