The Dentist Again....

Well, my girl is at it again.  She is such a grinder that she has already worn down the "build up" she had done here.  So, it was time to do it again.  I took her today and they decided to do eight of her baby teeth with the response, "Let's see how long it takes her to grind that material away!"  Ha!  They don't know my little grinder very well do they?  I'm so proud of my girl though because she was brave and didn't cry at all!  Way to go Zoe girl!

Singing Away After Swim Lessons

This was our girl on the way home from swim lessons yesterday.  You'll have to forgive the lack of a "view" while filming.  If I had turned around, she would've stopped immediately.  Needless to say, I wanted to capture this moment...it's hysterical!  By the way, she's singing a song from "Barbie in a Mermaid Tale."

Swim Lessons

My girl is taking swim lessons and doing so well.  Anyway, we went to the pool the other day with Aunt Shelley, Mr. Chris and the twins.  Let's just say that our Zoe didn't quite "perform" like she's capable of (that's the understatement of the year...she clung to Mark and I just like usual).  So, I took my camera so I could capture just what she's been doing.  So, Nana & Papa and Aunt Shelley....here you go!

America!

For the 4th of July, we were invited to my buddy Becca's house.  I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had.  Becca has twin five year old girls (Morgan & McKenna)  and my best buddy Shelley was there with her twin seven year old girls, Anna & Ashlyn.  Anyway, the whole evening was just awesome!  Let's not forget to mention that we also live in the greatest country in the world!

Friday at the Zoo

This past Friday I took the day off to take Zoe to the Nashville Zoo.  I tried to talk Julie into going with me, but she had too much going on at the office.  So, her Nanny, Ms. Terri, met me with Shyla and Seth and the kids had an absolute ball!

This was the note Daddy left for Zoe when he left for work....

Isn't the art work gorgeous?  I pointed to the girl on the right and asked Zoe who that was and she said, "Zoe!"  I pointed to the girl on the left and asked Zoe who that was and she said, "Nana!"  That's pretty funny if I do say so myself!  I explained that it was me and her at the zoo!  By the way, what's up with the size of my lips?!?

How Did God Put the Baby.....

Zoe has been in swim lessons for a while now and she made friends with a little girl named Kate in her group.  Kate has a little sister (I don't believe she's a year old yet) that her mother brings with her every time and sits over by me in the bleachers.  Anyway, after the lesson we saw them leaving when Zoe asks while pointing at Kate's mother, "Mommy, did God put a baby in her Mommy's belly?"  As a back story, we've told Zoe that God puts a baby in a Mommy's belly, etc.  I said, "Yes he did."  Zoe said, "But how did God get the baby in her belly?"  I'm seriously wondering by this point how I'm having this conversation with my now four year old.  I said, "God can do anything and make anything happen.  He just says it and it happens."  Zoe said, "Yeah, but Mommy HOW did he get the baby in there?"  I'm pretty much giggling by this point thinking about how I just might have to have a conversation with Zoe about the birds and the bees because she's just too smart.  However, I quickly directed her attention to her new Watermelon flavored sucker she got following swim lessons and she didn't think to ask me again.  Whew!  Until next time.....
