Orioles v. Braves 04/14/2012
The Orioles had a game against the Braves on April 14th and, while they didn't win,
they sure did play a great game!
Art at School
Zoe's school had an art show, but we didn't get to attend because she had a game. Anyway, we did find where Zoe had an art piece displayed in the hallway and we were AMAZED that she had drawn a cat so well! Way to go, Zoe!
Reading Award
Every 9 weeks the Kindergarten has an award ceremony in recognition of individual accomplishments. Anyway, our girl got the reading award this time and we couldn't be prouder! I know I say this all the time, but in this instance it's the gospel.....she gets it from me (just ask her Daddy). Zoe absolutely LOVES to read and has done so well! Way to go Zoe! Mommy & Daddy love you and are so proud of you!
Orioles v. Cardinals 04/11/2012
The Orioles did it again with a big win over the Cardinals! Go Orioles!
You all do realize that I'm going to post some type of picture of my girl from each
and every game.....right?
Easter
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:13
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time

Orioles v. White Sox 04.07.12
The Orioles romped and stomped the White Sox! Yay!
Check out those socks! Flames!
Coach Chris & Daddy
Ashlyn & Anna
Check out that stance!
Coach McDonald having a chat with the girls!
I love that he does this and is so encouraging!
Coloring Easter Eggs
Every year we have a tradition of coloring Easter eggs on Good Friday. I love that I work for a firm that will close on Good Friday (Mark, too) and I love it that Zoe doesn't have school. We always spend the day together as a family doing something (even if it's just staying at home) and we ALWAYS color Easter eggs. This year was no exception!
Winner, Winner, Turkey Dinner
So, the turkey master finally got a Tennessee bird and I couldn't be prouder. Plus, he's pretty sexy (if I do say so myself) in his camo! He's probably going to call me the minute he reads this and demand I remove that line!
Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is such a special Sunday to me. It gets me in the mindset of what the true meaning of Easter is all about. As I sit back and ponder the days leading up to Christ's crucifixion, I'm in awe of the sacrifice and so grateful that I've been forgiven. I realize that I need to put more trust and faith in His plan for me and my family rather than always trying to be a control freak.
I do love that our new church we're attending has a singing program for Zoe's age group called Songbirds. Zoe had been practicing at church and at home to sing on Palm Sunday and sing she did! Check out my little cutie:

Fun with the Sanfords
Periodically we'll have dinner with the Sanfords and it's always a blast. It's nice to be able to stay home (they live in our subdivision), visit with friends and let the kids run and have a ball! Plus, who can resist when Mr. Craig puts on the Disney tunes and the kids go to town dancing. I would be remiss if I failed to mention that I think that Mr. Craig has as much fun dancing as the kids! Ha!
Orioles v. Braves - March 31, 2012
Zoe had a game on March 31, 2012 against the Braves. We were so excited because Shannon, London & Dane as well as Kim came out to see our girl in action. She did great and I was so proud of her! I had to put a picture on here of her friend McKenzie at bat because I actually caught the ball at the tip of her bat as she swung! I'm going to keep trying to catch Zoe!
Zoe & The Game Ball
Zoe has really taken to playing softball and she is doing extremely well. She is playing what is called "coach pitched" and that is where the coaches actually pitch to you and after so many tries if you can't hit it, then they will bring out the "T" and let the kids hit off of it. Zoe very seldom has to hit off the "T" and has done extremely well for her age and given the fact that this is her first time playing organized softball. She has thrown the ball and hit the ball with her Daddy outside lots, but it's different playing on a team and knowing what to do. Anyway, last night (March 29th) Zoe had a game and did extremely well batting and playing her position. She did so well that her coach (Coach McDonald) gave her the game ball! I thought her Daddy was going to cry. You see, baseball is his sport and the fact that his little girl loves softball is just icing on the cake for him. The coach brought a Sharpie and had all of the girls sign the ball before he gave it to Zoe. We have it proudly displayed on the mantle at our house! We are so incredibly proud of you, Zoe!
