Kindergarten Field Trip to Nashville Zoo

The Kindergarten classes at Stoner Creek took another field trip and this time it was to the Nashville Zoo. I'm a huge fan of the zoo and was so happy to be able to take a day off of work and go with my girl! I think you'll see from the pictures that she was beyond excited for me to be there with her. I'm already getting sentimental because my girl only has ONE MONTH of Kindergarten left and then it's on to FIRST GRADE! Where has the time gone?!?

Shannon's Surprise 35th Birthday Party

Shannon's husband, Bill, planned a surprise birthday party for her 35th birthday. While there were many that didn't get to attend, it did end up being a fabulous night! We surprised Shannon at the Hilton, stayed for drinks at the hotel and then went to dinner at Merchant's. After we finished at Merchant's, we went down to Wanna B's for karaoke and that was HYSTERICAL! It was such a fun evening! I told Shannon during the night, "You do realize that I love you lots because I just left my hubby after he's been gone for an entire week?!?" Of course, I was completely joking with her and she knew it. We love you, Shannon! It's about time someone did something special for you since you are ALWAYS going above and beyond for all of us!

Mark's Visit to Missouri

Mark took a trip to Missouri to spend a week with his brothers and his Dad. It had almost been two years since Mark had been home to visit and he needed to be there to see his Dad. The fact of the matter is that Herman isn't getting any younger and he has had a few health issues come up. So, we decided that Mark would spend a week turkey hunting with his family and getting to visit. Plus, Steve turned 50 and Patty was throwing a surprise birthday party for him. I think it's safe to say that Mark had an absolute blast!
